Sunny Leone once again courted controversy over her cancelled New Year event ‘Sunny Nights’ in Bengaluru. The entire hullabaloo was created as some Pro Kannada groups who claimed that Sunny doesn’t fit into the Kannada ‘culture’ and quoted her ‘history’ as their reason for protesting against the show. After the police denied to provide security, Sunny cancelled the show and came up with a perfect reply to the miscreants on social media. And now the actor has talked about her inspiration in life which comes from yesteryear Bollywood divas Sharmila Tagore, Dimple Kapadia, Mandakini, Rekha, Zeenat Aman and Madhubala who dared to go against the set norms back in their era. They taught her “it’s perfectly ok to be myself.” Sunny, on Thursday, shared photos of the Bollywood beauties who broke out of the traditional ‘sanskari’ image of female actors and made choices which raised eyebrows back in the 70s and 80s. “A few women in Bollywood who have taught me that it’s perfectly ok to be myself. Sharmila Tagore…Mandakini…Dimple Kapadia…Zeenat Aman…,” tweeted Sunny. The list of actors mentioned by Sunny were the few ladies of Bollywood who made way for their next generation to flaunt their bodies with pride.
