এরই অংশ হিসেবে নারীদের দেওয়া শুরু হয়েছে ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স। সোমবার থেকে এ কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়েছে। প্রথমবারের মতো দেশটির ১০ জন নারী গাড়ি চালানোর লাইসেন্স গ্রহণ করেছেন।
সৌদি আরবের তথ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের আন্তর্জাতিক যোগাযোগ বিষয়ক কেন্দ্র (সিআইসি) এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে।
সিআইসি জানিয়েছে, ১০ সৌদি নারী সোমবার গাড়ি চালানোর লাইসেন্স গ্রহণ করেছেন।
